    Trips to Las Vegas:
My wife and I will be spending 5 nights in Vegas with one of the nights at Sunset Station Hotel. Can anyone tell me what it's like to stay overnight there?

We love the casino but are not crazy about the rooms. The room itself is fine, large and comfortable, good beds but the bathrooms leave much to be desired. They are in serious need of updating. It's been a few years since we've stayed there and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if it weren't for the bathroom. Nice food court, buffet is marginal but we love the Italian restaurant (can't think of the name). The pool area is very nice and not usually too crowded. I guess it depends on what you're used to. We usually stay at RR or GVR so Sunset Station is a couple of steps down from those two.

    Trips to Las Vegas:
N and J is right bathrooms do need a brush up, but apart from that we always find Sunset friendly, effective friendly service, rooms are clean and comfy, and the steakhouse is a bit of a hidden gem, the bacon wrapped shrimp starter is sublime. Casino wise it is roomy, lot of games, table choices limited if you don't play blackjack, but a great atmosphere overall .we have stayed at sunset each trip for around the last 8 years, and muchy prefer it when we want a quieter time after staying on the strip. will be squeezing one night in after thanksgiving this year as well as trying red rock again which we really enjoyed. have a great trip
