Is there a desirable table to request? To make a reservation on line it takes you to Open Table and it looks like there might be a window view, or is that just a stock, generic photo? We have never been there before.

If there are tables with a view, then I'll ask our host to make a reservation, rather than just going through Open Table on line.

Joe: There are indeed tables with a view. Actually, you can probably see the Strip from anywhere in the restaurant, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have a table by the window. No, we never ate there – can't afford it, but we did go up for the happy hour crab cake appetizer that was prominently featured on the LCD display by the elevator. It wasn't on the printed menu, and we received the all too familiar "deer in the headlights" look when we tried to order it. We left!

Yes, there are tables with a view.

We have eaten there twice, and both times it was nothing special. Plus, the service (both the hostess and the waiter) was terrible.

We do like the happy hour though. You sit in the bar area and order from the happy hour menu. The bartender made the drinks way too strong. Prices on the happy hour drinks, wines, and appetizers are very good.

If I were to eat at SC Prime again, I would only do the happy hour. It's far from the windows.

An excellent restaurant is Salvatore's Italian. Slow service (long waits between courses), but GREAT food. It's our favorite at Suncoast. Nice booths and tables, with white tablecloths. There is a piano player that plays old standards. Don't go on a Saturday night - it gets crazy busy. No windows at all, except those that look into the casino.

    Both take B-connected points.

Hey Joe, remember we had a discussion in a p.m. on my review of the steakhouse? I was less than thrilled with the service because the staff seemed more interested in the giant screen tv's showing wrestling smackdown. (Sadly, my husband was more interested in the tv's too.) My opinion was they are way too large for a fancy steakhouse and take away from the atmosphere.

Anyhow, about those window seats. They would be nice if it's early evening. It should be a pretty view. Once it gets dark, those 5 big tv's just reflect off the glass windows so the view is wasted. However, if you enjoy watching a game with your dinner but have your back to the tv, it's just as easy to look out the window and see the show reflected. You won't even notice the view.

The steakhouse has lots of good reviews, hopefully you hit it on a good night. My only tip would be to eat early rather than late.

Just looking at your timer, are you guys arriving Wednesday or Thursday?

Thursday 9:30 AM. So early we decided to get a motel near the airport the night before so we didn't have to get up at 3 AM. I'm not a morning person but we used Hotel.com and that gave me 10 stays, so the next one in Seattle, one night will be free. Well, not really free, they use the average of the 10, so $188 will be knocked off the first night.

I do remember your disappointing meal at the steakhouse, but we have to try it for ourselves. A late dinner for us is 6 PM:evillaugh

Well we came close to meeting up this time. We'll be checking out of SC around 9:30 Thursday for our noon flight home. Maybe we'll meet up at the front desk.

At least if we leave any money, I'll feel better knowing you're there to pick it up!
