I'm going to Vegas with some buddies. Several of us are high limit players and can get suites at any MGM property we like. I know most suites are just one king bedroom, but obviously that won't work for a bunch of dudes. Which property would have the best suite accommodations for us (eg. several beds and bedrooms)?

most 2 bedroom suites are 1 king and 2 queens with a sofa in the living room. so that can easily sleep 4 dudes. however, a 2 bedroom Skyloft can sleep 6-8 easily. there are the 2 bedrooms, but also 3-4 sofas that can sleep people. they can be hard to get unless you're a really big player, but if you have several medium players staying in the same suite, you can make it happen.

What properties and specific suite at that property are you referring to?

Probably the easiest thing to do is for the guys that are high limit players, have them contact their host and let the host do the leg work and give you some recommendations. That's their job.

    First off, how many?
And, how many are eligible to get suites in the first place?

You may have better luck getting multiple or larger suites by combining forces.

The Mirage has actual 2 bedroom suites plus the sofas. You could sleep 4-5 people easily in one of those suites.

Just call your host and tell them what you are looking for.
Maybe you can get a combination of suites and rooms.

you've used the term high roller a couple of times, but you also asked a hypothetical question about someone betting $500 per hand. this makes me wonder if you're considering $500 avg bet to be a high roller. in the world of suites at the top hotels, $500 avg bet is a minnow. all the big 1BR suite start at $1000 and 2BRs start at $1500-2500 avg bet. if you have 2 players that play at $500, you may be able to sneak into a small 2 bedroom suite on an off weekend, but that would be pushing it to sleep 4.
