Are the parking garages on the strip free?

Which ones are the best? Which ones should I avoid?

Ideally, I'd like to find a place to park south strip, mid strip, and north strip; then just walk to each casino. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I had a few bad experiences with valets; not likely to use that option.

I would rather park, walk myself.

the self parking at bally`s is pretty good.

a bit of a walk thru the area with the shops and food places but lots of space to park.

As others have said, every strip casino has free parking and free valet. The only self parking that kinda sucks is Planet Hollywood since the free parking is actually through the Miracle MILE(s?) mall. I think the first tip every first time PH hotel customer should be given is DON'T self park when taking luggage to/from the car.

My favorites are Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, TI, Venetian, and Wynn.

Bill's used to be the best.

    None are too bad.

Parking at Monte Carlo and Bellagio are very easy and close to the tram stations so you can easily get to the other properties. MGM is quite a long walk from the strip, so I try to avoid it if I'm going to be walking around.

Just got back - spent a week on the strip this trip. We liked self-parking at the Mirage the best. Really quick to get to the indoor area and very easy to navigate out to the strip. I see that you wanted to avoid valet, but we also thought their valet crew was outstanding! Nicest valet guys we've ever seen and we used them frequently. Normally tipped $2.00 on pick-up or extra if they were handling our bags. Always polite, opened our doors, asked if we needed any help, directions, just overall a great bunch of guys! Valet at the Paris was quite good as well. We personally would probably avoid self parking at Luxor and Excalibur. Too far away, and the Excalibur casino is an extremely smoky walk-through. No complaints other than that.

    Have a great trip!
