My team is heading to InfoComm next week and are looking to dine with some other colleagues one night. Any recommendations for dining, preferably mid strip, business casual type maybe. All input welcome, many thanks!

Mon Ami Gabi would fit the bill nicely. Pun intended :)

exactly my recommendation, I don't know where else you can get that atmosphere, and quality mid strip.

We tried Gilly's last time, although I was hammered, the restaurant seemed like a decent place, it's not just a country bar.the food was good.

I’m a fan of Society Café at Encore. If you go all out, you’ll overshoot your budget. But an excellent meal can be had for under $40 if you eschew the apps and booze/wine.

And, by the way, what exactly do you mean by “business casual”?:wink2:

since you mention price, the location where you are staying becomes relevant, because if you add in a couple of 15-20 dollar cab fares going to and from a restaurant, that skews the total cost of the meal much higher.

    so, where are you staying?

    OP,

I am faced w/ the same situation that you are faced with. I host an annual conference in Vegas, and I am often have to find a location that will accommodate 10 to 15 people at a $20 per person entree price. Over the past 5 years, we have held this at a variety of places. My recommendation based off of my experience would be:

    Yolos at Planet Hollywood

I held a business dinner here two years ago for 12 people, and I thought the food was good and the service was very attentive.

I personally wouldn't recommed Mon Ami Gabi. Three years ago, I held a business dinner there during the summer, and we were forced inside due to temps. Inside Mon Ami Gabi is very cramped. The food is good, but unless you plan on order sandwiches or chicken, it is tough to go under $20 an entree.

If you want to venture up the strip a little. Last year I hosted a dinner at BB Kings at The Mirage. The food is good and reasonable there, but after 7:30, they have live entertainment that can get loud.

This year my conference is at NY NY. I am going to host this dinner for 12 people at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez.

Thanks for the input folks! And I am not stepping into the debate over "business casual".

I think the OP was going $25 to $40 which opens up far more on a menu than your $20 PP

$20 entree plus app or dessert and/or drinks could be $25-40 very quickly.

OP - do you mean $25-40 entree, or everything?
