Hi all, so a question for my upcoming trip in a couple of weeks. I'm going with one of my oldest friends (will be his first vegas trip), for his 40th birthday.

He is without doubt going to want to visit a gentleman's club! So my question is, 1. where to go and 2. what's the best time to visit, bearing in mind we are only two guys and don't want/need bottle service.

I think the best option would be to go when it's not too busy, not too quiet. My only past vegas experience of this was at the Rhino with another friend, it was dead and we got jumped on and whisked off to the private room as soon as we stepped in the door! Looking for a bit more of a laid back atmosphere this time.

    Thanks!

In my experience, even when the Rhino is packed, you still get jumped on, and not always in the good way.

    Hi,
Just do a search on this site and you will find many responses. That said your best bet might be the bigger houses late afternoon early evening.

If you don't want too crowded, go during happy hour.
Cheetah's has a great happy hour with 2 for 1 lap dances.
It goes from around noon to 6pm. They have happy hour drink prices too.
Olympic Garden is my favorite club for non happy hour times. But they do have a happy hour from 3-6pm that features 2 for 1 drinks.
Either way, call ahead and they will send a limo to pick you up and give you free admission.
Let me know if you need more info about either of these places.

I think going at a busy time is better, because there is more going on and more to see. I seem to end up at Sapphire and Cheetahs the most. Cheetah's seems to be more consistently good, but when Sapphire is busy, it is a sight to behold.

Sapphire on a Sunday night or for Monday night football always seems like a good, laid-back, time where there are still lots of girls to choose from but the pressure to go private is much less than Thurs-Sat nights.

I think OG's is the most laid back of the larger clubs and you can sit near the DJ booth at the VP bar if you want time to enjoy the view without getting too bothered by table/private dance requests.

The key point was listed above -- no matter where you go, don't take a cab. Call the club and have them send a car for you. It will be cheaper, by a long shot. Because the club has to pay the cabbie to bring you, so that charge gets passed on to you.

    Or so I've been told.

yes like stated above call the clubs limo, tip the driver and get discounted entry. but we went to sapphire.... good variety, and really other than a couple of the girls, none of them were too pushy to go to VIP, they at least acted like they were interested in some small talk before they offered a dance and/or to go to vip....

I'd recommend Sapphire also. The clubs is very spacious and has plenty of seats to sit down at. The girls aren't as pushy and bitch like Rhino.

I've been to 3 so far and my favorite is the Rhino. Best looking girls but it was really busy and the girls won't leave you alone.

Second fav is Treasures. Very good looking girls as well, Id say just as good as Rhino and they weren't as pushy there either for dances/VIP room

Couple weeks ago I went to OG and was not impressed at all. It was pretty dead in there and the girls were not hot at all. I must of went at a bad time, Wed at 10PM, cause everyone on here talks it up quite a bit but I didn't see what all the hype was about.

Like others mentioned, always call up the club and have them pick you up in their limo, pretty much all the clubs will do this.

I was there 2 weeks ago. I visited Rhinos, Treasures, Lil Darlings, OG, cheetahs, Vince Vaughn's girl girls girls and Crazy Horse III.

I visited Rhinos on a sunday night. not too bad, the hustle wasn't as bad, it wasn't overly crowded and the girls still looked pretty good. I noticed that they changed the area by the stage though (the areas around the wall and on the lowest level of the room), now they cordoned it off, "reserved" for bottle service. Those areas used to be a place to sit and hang out and get lap dances but I guess you now have to spend money on a bottle to sit there.

I also visited Rhinos on a Thursday night. By 9:30 the place was packed. Hype was bad, many girls were asking if I wanted to go with them directly to the VIP room. I asked about a $20 lap dance outside and they got snooty and moved on to other suckers who would take them to the VIP room instead. Didn't have any lap dances on a thursday night and I would probably skip the place when it is busy (wed - sat nights after 8:30 pm).

I went to OG on MNF night, at 11 the place was dead. I didn't stay very long. After that I cross OG off my "must" visit list. While others may like OG's I totally hate the place and won't be back.

Treasures was empty early but got a little busier as the night progressed. Some nice girls but didn't have as many girls as I was use to see. The place never got busy enough to open the upstairs area, maybe was a slow week? Still a mix of some hot girls and some woofers. lap dance action was also okay.

Lil Darlings was okay but they changed during the day. They picked up a new day manager and the girls have been changing their schedule. The day manager is a total butthole and so the girls are now moving back to night. Hopefully management will get the message and will can the dumb*ss soon.

A total thumbs down for Vince Vaughn's new club. It should have been a red flag that you are required up front to buy 2 drinks, that way they made something off of you if you left quickly. The girls were totally substandard, not many girls on a wednesday night also. The inside of the club is nice but they really need to bring in quality girls. They even had a radio station there but they still couldn't pull in customers. I won't be back to this club. I seriously doubt it will be around a year from now.

Crazy horse on a wednesday night was okay, not too crowded. Not as many girls working though, maybe it is off season? The girls seem friendly and chatty, not as big a hype from the girls.

I still like Cheetahs. Yes, it is a "skanky" type of bar but I get good "hands on" action from the girls in the main showroom. The girls are a lower class that you would find at the Rhinos but maybe that's why they allow your hands to roam. The place is always a good place to visit, ask them for a VIP card and it will allow you free entry to the place.

Ive said it before, Ill say it again. Palaminos. Sure its a bit further of a drive but they will send you a free limo no problem. It's full nude, full liquor. As far as I know its the only one in town. There is generally 50 or so girls on a weekend night. Its certainly a "strip club". "Gentlemans club" would be a stretch.

First I will say "wow". That is an impressive amount of strip clubs in a short amount of time.

Too bad you didnt like OG. Last time I was out there, in April, I went to OG for the first time in many years and it was great. But it was a Saturday night.

I agree on Rhino, last few times I was there it was horribly crowded and most of the girls only want VIP room.

btw, I think it is Vince Neil's club, not Vince Vaughn

Ha ha, you are correct, it is Vince Neil. I am not a fan of his music (or whatever he does, lol) so really don't care anyway. I won't be back to the place unless I hear something better.

As for OG, I usually skip the friday and saturday night visits as the place is usually too crowded for my tastes. Ever since they renovated and created private booths along the walls (used to have couches for lap dances) I haven't enjoyed my visits there. I only went because I had free passes to get into the place.

My visits were spread out over 4 days. Since the casinos are usually crowded in the evening (until 1 am) I usually spend my time at the sc's until the gambling crowd dies down and I play at the craps tables from 1 until 4 or 5 am. Some nights I visited more than 1 sc - the OG visit I only had a beer and was out of there in less than 20 minutes, I could count the number of girls on 2 hands, and it was at 11 pm, it was that dead for a MNF night.

But as I mentioned, to each his/her own. Some people rave about OG but I am not a fan of the place.

I visited Palominos a year or two ago on a week night. It wasn't very crowded or busy and there wasn't a great selection of girls working. I think many of the strip clubs pick up on the weekends (friday and saturday) when out of town girls come a working but are usually not very busy during the week days, especially on sunday/monday/tuesday nights.

btw, if you go to the Deja Vu boutique (located either on industrial road or the one by the orleans) they have passes that will get you into the various clubs (lil darlings, Vince Neil's place, OG's, deja vu, treasures, hustler and sapphires - although with sapphires I got in without a pass, was a week night and their passes are only for a free drink with paid entry) so I didn't have to pay for entry to most of the places (some had upfront drink charges though).

Forgot to mention that I also went to sapphires also. It was okay but there was a lot of hype to go to the VIP room. They curtain off the room and only open up the other side when the one half is totally crowded. Drinks are expensive there, $14 for a mix drink - other clubs charge $10 but sapphires charge $14 or more depending on your drink.

I did drive to other clubs, there is one off procyron (sorry about the spelling) and desert inn that used to be jaguars, Ricks cabaret and other names. The parking lot was totally empty - 1 car - and when I got to the door they wanted upfront $30 for 2 drinks and entry. After the Vince Neil fiasco I decided to pass since I didn't feel it was worth the money to just see an empty club. IMHO, the upfront 2 drink minimum charge is usually a red flag that they have to charge upfront because most customers leave after 1 drink.

So I am confused. What was your favorite club of those that you visited? Cheetahs?
