Has anyone here received a comp offer that just didn't make sense to them, or was just a little bit stranger than the rest.

I currently (and I am sure most of you have the same offer) have an offer from CET for a bunch of free nights and a choice of Michael Kors OR Dooney & Bourke Handbag! As a 27 year old guy, not much use for the handbag, but what a unique offer!

What's the weirdest offer you've had?

I fishing rod for Father's day that was little better than a pocket fisherman! Just because you can't use the purse doesn't mean that you shouldn't snatch it up, though. It would be a great gift for your mom or your significant other. When I did do a lot of trips to the casinos to pick up stuff like that, it was to save them for gifts later. One Christmas, I managed to get most of my gifts from the casino.

I just got the Michael Kors or Dooney & Bourke handbag offer, too. I'm female and like handbags, but high retail the value of this offer is only about $350 when my free play offers are $700. Why would I take it?

I also just received the CET corporate offer that normally comes with free nights, $350 free play and $350 resort credit, but this time it only came with free nights -- nothing else! WTF?! I don't know why they bother sending these lower value offers when there are several others during the month that come with decent free play or gift cards. What a waste of printing and postage.

I got that purse offer as well. I'm guessing people with spouses or girlfriends may be more tempted to take it. Most of my orders are actually ok. They sent me one for early January for a free tv but since I don't need a tv, it didn't influence me.

I got that 12 pack when I signed up at the Blue Chip in Indiana! I think i had to earn 500 points 1st or something. The worst part was I had to turn around and take it to my car and come back in to gamble.

I also got the purse thing. As a mid 30's male I thought it was lame. But my wife...

The strangest offers I get are from my local casinos. Unless you count CET offering me $500 and 5 nights comped in one offer and $10 resort credit, no free play and reduced rates in another offer strange.

    Four Winds in MI:
Mini Helicopter, comforter, microwave, gazpacho maker, spoon set... Good stuff like a Kindle, GoPro or 27" LED TV as well.

Boyd once sent me an offer to pick up a mini LED old timey train lantern.

Yeah the gifts from horseshoe are pretty lame as well. They had been doing the pop for a while so either it is successful or pepsi just throws em product for promos and BC tries their best to make it seem like an offer.

I actually got a Blue Chip offer that read like this. "Come in for your mystery gift! You might have won a TV, $500 in free play, a rock or a spoon" I wonder what I would have actually gotten?

I think the strangest one was a coupon for a 6-pack of Bud Light at a local convenience store for so many points earned that day. This was at the local Harrah's a few years ago.

That is the brand I drink, but I seldom drink it at home. I ended up with several 6-packs and they lasted forever. :)
