Thanks for all the updates. After a rocky start, looks like you're holding steady. Here's to a big comeback and good luck at Cosmo.

I need all the luck I can get!

I think you should replace Bubble Craps with something else. Try the 3-reel Wonka machines at Cosmo; they've dug me out of a whole more than once.

    Thanks everyone!

Ate breakfast at the Feast Buffet this morning using a MyVEGAS reward - not phenomenal, not awful. Probably wouldn't pay for it in the future but would use another freebie.

    Some breakfast pics:

Before heading back up to the room I decided to redeem whatever Freeplay I had on my card from my collective play. The kiosk gave me $10, which I took to a "Jackpot Streak" machine and played for 20 spins betting $0.50. Hit a free spin bonus about 10 spins into the session but did not hit any of the jackpots.

After running my freeplay through I cashed out for a few cents over $20. Took that to roulette, and missed my numbers on the first spin. Decided not to feed the machine any more, so I headed up to the room.

Now packing up my stuff getting ready to head to the Cosmo. I'm not expecting them to have my room ready this early since they've been sold out for the past couple of days, but it can't hurt to ask.

Has anyone been charged for early check-in at the Cosmo? And if so, how much was it?

I don't disagree with that haha. I'm not much of a slot player but I'll give this a shot - where are these machines located?

As memory serves, when you come in from the strip they are in the center of the casino before the tables. They are the newer 3-reel wonka machines...two side by side. The one on the right if you are facing Las Vegas Blvd has been luckiest for me but both have been good. Good luck today. I've never been charged for checking in early at Cosmo. If there's a room ready, no problem.

All checked-at the Cosmopolitan. I'm staying on a comp offer that was supposed to be for two nights, but because they were sold out of City Rooms last night I'm only able to use it for one night. A month ago or so I paid $30 for an upgrade to a Terrace Studio room to make sure I had a balcony.

Got to the front desk and put a $20 between my ID and credit card and asked if there were any complimentary upgrades available. The guy told me the best he could do was a Terrace One Bedroom in the East Tower and gave me my keys. I headed up the elevator hoping for a fountain view, but not expecting one since I foolishly didn't ask about it at check-in. Found my room on the 57th floor, no fountain view but looking straight at Planet Hollywood instead.

Not a deal breaker by any means - the room is awesome. Going to unpack a few things then head downstairs for some gaming and to place football picks for tonight.

    Pics of the room:

Heading to PHo now to pick up a Total Rewards card and eat using some of my Social Rewards credits.

Thanks! Found the Wonka machines but they were both occupied. Will definitely give one a try at some point.

Not a terrible view at all, I actually like it. Never had a balcony in Vegas before. Need to put that on my list for the future, for sure.

I haven't had that view....on all occasions but once when I had a City Center view, I've had fountain-view. That is not a bad view at all. It'll be nice when the strip is lit up. I used to prefer the terrace studios but I actually have come to prefer the one-bedroom as I like the center dressing area and I rarely have time to use the tub anyway so having the walk-through shower to the small tub doesn't affect me. Hope the Wonkas treat you well.

    Good stuff! Enjoying the pics.

That view is pretty sweet, even if it isn't a fountain view.

Grabbed my Total Rewards card, played three spins on the roulette machine and cashed out +$20.

Heading to BURGR now for food/beers and to ring in the college football season.

great view. I actually thought the roof of Paris was a lake. Couldn't believe I had never seen that big lake before in all my trips.Took me a little figuring to realize it was the blue roof lol.

Ouch. That's rough. Bricking 35 in a row is 1 in 591 occurrence as the odds of a multiplier is 1 in 6. It really is STP on steroids. Cosmo also has it if you wish to continue this degenerate game. Best paytable is 8/5 Boner Deluxe (97.4%) at the nickel level followed by 8/5 Jacks (97.30%), all games are 96.7%+ on any hot roll machine in any casino except Double Bonus. Refreshing for a "new" game.

Great pics and TR so far; good luck the rest of the way!!
