We just decided that for our trip in August we will be staying at Harrah's for the first time. Haven't stayed on the Strip for many years and the last time was at Circus Circus with relatives. Have a lot of credit left from their contest two years ago that we want to use up. That + three comped nights, four comped buffets and the lure of the Strip convinced us! Will be going for two days to GVR sometime this month, just didn't decide yet.

Hopefully we will be able to report good things!!

Just make sure you try and upgrade to the Premium rooms or Mini-Suite. Use the $20 trick. Harrah's is kind of worn down so you need to be careful in choosing rooms at Harrah's. I have never stayed at Harrah's, just Showboat, but if you want to look at pics of Harrah's and the differences in the rooms, i go to Oyster.
