The buffet at Caesars Windsor is good.

FYI, this could be changing within a year or so. Federal laws on the subject should be changing soon.

Ok, when I went this morning, there were 2 craps tables open - one at $5 minimum and the other at $10 minimum. At noon they opened the Crapless Craps with a $5 minimum. Two roulette tables open this morning, both at $10 minimum....later a 3rd table opened also at $10 (all double zero). Didn't go into high limit room today so can't comment on roulette in there other than it usually runs at $50 minimum and there is hardly anybody ever playing in there. For roulette, I typically go over to MGM Detroit where they have single zero in their high limit room with a $25 minimum. FYI, I find the dealers in Windsor some of the friendliest around. If you want to know anything else Chess just let me know. Will be in Windsor again next weekend before heading out to Vegas.

One of the things I don't see mentioned is that they ordinarily offer one night a week where there is a bonus multiplier for RCs on your base TCs earned. The scheme and the day changes month to month, but in December it is 7x points offered on Sundays, with the 23rd excluded. Might be worth coming in a day early, if your play warrants it.

As well, you said you don't drink on business trips, but for others, there is a fun bar, if a little "rough", down Riverside drive that has good chicken wings. I can't remember the name, but they have a board out on the street. Prices aren't comparable to US for alcohol, but they are decent for Canada. It is up a flight of stairs.

Finally, at other times of the year, I've been offered tickets for box seating to Tigers games. Assuming they still have them, might be worth throwing a little play their way, and taking some tix back across for another evening's relaxation.
