Staying at Paris over St Patty Day

    I have been to Vegas several times...but I was wondering what to expect for St Pattys Day? Is it anything like Halloween on the strip?

    We went to Vegas over St. Pat's two years ago and stayed at Paris. There were a couple of "street parties", one at NYNY (I think it had an admission fee) and one over by Flamingo I think. We had our green gear on complete with blinking shamrocks and such...but it wasn't crazy at all. I had green beer everywhere and it was a good time. It WAS busy everywhere but it was also March Madness and that was where most of the people came from. Any bar with a TV was packed.

    St Patrick's day is 3 days before March Madness and for the first time in 5 years they don't overlap.

    I would expect a watered down St. Patrick's day this year, with most of the partyers being local or within driving distance (i.e. L.A People).
