We got an offer for 3 free nights, so we will use them on our mid-December trip. We will probably drive to the strip or downtown during the day and do minimal drinking, and will return to Boulder Station after dinner to play and drink till bedtime. Can't beat free! If anyone has stayed there recently, do you have any comments or advice?

I play Craps there but never stayed in the hotel. I like the vibe in the casino.

If you're OK with public transit the BHX and 203 Buses run every 20 minutes. When you board show the driver a crisp $5 bill and ask for a 24hr pass before you slide it in the bill collector. It's the Locals fare for that pass and saves you $3.

The 203 stops at the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip. It's a 32 minute ride but worth it instead of risking a DUI. There's a stop right outside the east entrance on Lamb.

Take the BHX for the 25 minute ride Downtown.

have stayed at boulder station 12 nights this year...all comped.

buffet (all three meals) can be very crowded at times; apparently very popular with the locals.
good coffee shop and mexican restaurants

keep coming back because we, too, like the vibe
excellent vp selection, as good as any we've encountered.
    blackjack dealers friendly
sports book outdated; no electronic odds, still handwritten, which can be a drag during busy periods.

rooms nothing out of the ordinary; clean, basic amenities.

good location for boulder strip property, right next to 515 fwy or can use desert inn road for straight shot to the strip
