Here are the details of our recent Mlife Corporate offer for the Monte Carlo.

    • 3 nights in Monaco Suite
    • Buy one, get one show ticket (do not plan to use)
    • $125 Freeplay
    • $100 Resort Credit

Other commitments dictate that we will only be able to stay 2 nights versus the 3 nights available. Will the casino expect us to generate the same amount of theo will would have over 3 days during our 2 day stay?

A good friend, a Vegas veteran, suggested that we are hurting future offers by staying only 2 nights versus the 3 nights available. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for any and all replies.

Your friend may be right. When an offer with extras is extended, they have an expectation of three days play at your level. Some casinos won't even let you book an offer like that for less than the three nights offered. The problem with doing three days worth of gambling in two could be that they expect that from you in the future.

In your situation, I would book a two night offer if I had one or call a host and see if they can do something suited for two nights, especially considering you don't want the show tickets.

Probably, but I have done it and still receive offers from that casino. I try not to make a habit of it.
If you have a host, it's worth a call to inquire on a 2 night offer, as Leo said.

MGM properties will book you for 2 nights and give you all the freeplay and resort credit.

Play your normal daily level for the 2 nights and it shouldn't affect your offers.

Freeplay costs them nothing. $100 resort credit over 3 nights is $33/night, so you're getting an "extra" $33 in resort credit. The only things you can spend resort credit on are things that are marked up at least 100% anyway, so it's no big deal.

I book corporate offers all the time for only one night and it hasn't affected any of my offers at all. I live about an hour away ( via plane) so I'll come in early Sat and fly out Sun night. Main thing is to give them your normal amount of play.

Yes, an expectation but not a requirement.

Folks here often have 3 night offers and just leave after 2 nights. Very common.

I had the same situation and asked my host and this is what she said.

Since the comps she gives me are based on total points per trip, it doesn't matter whether I stay 1, 2, or 3 nights, as long as my total points for the trip are where they normally are. If there is a noticeable drop, then it MAY affect my future offers. She used the word MAY.

For example, for me, a low roller who usually stays 2 nights on the weekends, if my usual points are 40k for a 2 night trip, and I decide to stay just 1 night, as long as I hit around 40k points in 1 night, it will not affect the future offers she is able to give me.

I have had the same experience.. I had a 4 night offer and only needed 3 nights. They booked the 3 nights and gave me all the FP and resort credits. I played normal and haven't seen any negative effect on my offers.
