So I was checking out the Station Casino free room nights and the prices were slashed by 60-70% (ex: Red Rock 150,000 LP to 45,000 & Palace Station 45,000 LP to 15,000). That seemed great, UNTIL I checked out the limitations and it now says "This reward is limited to 1 per myVEGAS player" down from 3 per myVEGAS player previously - similar to the now downgraded MGM hotel free room nights, so... yeah. That happened.

Huh- Does this mean I cannot redeem another Red Rock free night if I have already redeemed one this spring?

I don't know for sure, but I bet since this is a new batch (replacing the higher priced/3 per myVEGAS acct ones), you probably can - like with the MLife reward batches. One night anyway. Just a guess though.

Had to happen, sooner or later. With mgm going to 1 night, there was no way stations could keep up with the demand of 3 with all the people switching. Now to see if they include free resort fee in the new reward, or is that also gone. Got mine for Sep in April and kept warning people to get the reward while still available.

Bummer. Though I guess if you really wanted you could just buy one night at multiple properties and move each night

    Hey Now!
I got 3 nights at 150k per night. Made res. for Sept. back in June. No resort fee. Glad I did!

Going through multiple station nights on a golfing trip was my last desirable use for LP. Now 1-3 trips (likely 1 at the rate of rewards decay) of cashing LP and no more spinning to be done.

At least I got something out of the game (2 prior trips) when it was a good deal.

The other little add on to this is one FB member called to make a ressie at I believe Red Rock & was told all MV rooms are sold out for August, September & October. So even grabbing the reward may not get you a night.

I got 2 nights at Red Rock for end of Dec. with no trouble. 1 night for me and 1 night for my wife and they combined the reservations together. pretty painless. The limit is kind of pain, but was able to pair it up with 2 nights at Luxor (free from myvegas) so total of 4 nights free. Luxor still had the resort fee. The person on the phone from station said the red rock reservations had the resort fee also comp'd, and I got the red rock rewards after the it was changed to the lower amount

MSADRAKULA, sorry if this is a dumb question but in the terms it says that reward must be redeemed within 90 days of purchase so was just wondering how you could book for end of December?

You have to book the reservation within 90 days of purchasing the reward, but your actual stay can fall outside that window.

Here is a good outline of the rules of the game

    http://www.pokeratlas.com/poker-cash-game/the-quad-las-vegas-no-limit-holdem-1-1

The $50 to $300 buy in makes it very different from the 1-1 games I've played at Ocala or Mohegan Sun. I'm less enthused as this does not seem such a low roller special, but just a blind reduction. It will depend in large part on who plays.

The rake is good compared to some other places.
