I've just been reading about how cheap the Station buffets are. Anyone have any reviews of them? Which is the best? What's the best meal there?

It looks like car rentals on Hotwire in May are not too bad so we might go ahead and get one, which really opens things up for us! I appreciate any advice.

I've been to Palace Station, Boulder Station, and Red Rock, but the only buffet I've had was at Sante Fe Station a few months ago. I'm a fan of buffets anyway, was hungry, and I didn't have to pay, but I thought it was better than decent. I'm mystified, however, that the Station casinos evidently don't have specialty nights; or at least I don't see them mentioned on their website.

Stations have great buffets for the $$$. Top of the list has to be Red Rock and GVR. Sunset has a good buffet too, but probably not quite as good as the others. The only other one I have eaten at is Texas which was ok, but not as good as the other three.

All are worth the money, but Red Rock is the nicest. Have even driven from downtown to Texas Station just because the breakfast price was absurdly low, and stayed for a matinee at the Regal Cinemas next door. Nice!

I've frequented all the Stations over the years and have found them to be the best value for a grouping of buffets.
My personal favorite is Green Valley Ranch, due to quality, the decor of room and type of selections. A close second in Red Rock.
Texas Station is our spot for chili-eating (best of any Vegas buffet). Boulder is under the radar and an excellent option for breakfast. Palace has greatly improved over the years is hard to be beat for value. Sante Fe, Sunset and Aliante, though all off the beaten path, are also solid choices.
