"lucky" ... ??? Easy for someone to say, when their team lost. Corey Crawford deserves a LOT more credit than you just calling it lucky. Minnesota had 35 shots on goal, and Crawford stopped 34 of them.

    GO 'HAWKS !!!!!!!

As a Wild fan, I have to give credit where credit is due. Crawford is a beast to be reckoned with. I think BOTH teams played in what I would consider the most intense, dramatic series ever. Unfortunately for us Wild fans, Bryz couldn't stop the rebound and that was that.

I do have to say, I read a few of the NHL message boards, and the Hawks fans (most of them) were extremely classy with their comments. I have a new found respect for them. I can't wait for next season, the Hawks now know the wins wont come as easily as they expected against our young team. It's gonna be one heck of a rivalry.

Die hard Wild fan here... but rooting for the Hawks to win the cup!

the 'Hawks fans in attendance of game 6, from what I could tell with some brief interaction, were also classy (and humble), kudos to those folks who made the trek

    I hate the Xcel Center.
I considered going up for game 6 but passed on the idea.
The free street parking and giant stuffed baked potatoes are 2 positives about the place.

I am a HUUUUUGE Ranger fan BUT the Blackhawks are my 2nd favorite team.. For one BIG REASON ( and ya all are gonna laugh). JIM CORNEILSON'S National anthem.. If that doesn't get ya pumped up to watch a game.. check your pulse ya may NOT be among the living. Plus Quenneville played in Hartford for a bit ( even though i was never a big Whaler fan) and he always looks like he is gonna beat the living $#!* out of somebody.. LOL!

OK, JR ... let's hope for a Blackhawks / Rangers finale.
And, you are definitely correct on our National Anthem. Corneilson really gets everyone pumped up with his rendition. Coach Quenneville is a heck of a coach ... I thought he was going to burst a blood vessel today, when the refs disallowed the goal on interference.

Yeah ... in his first season leading the Blackhawks, Quenneville took the Hawks into the conference finals in 2009, before losing. And then, after he took them all the way to the Stanley Cup in 2010, he was the newest hero in town. However, after two consecutive first round playoff losses in 2011 and 2012, his popularity definitely waned. But with a 2nd Stanley Cup Championship in 2013, all was good once again ...

Wayne Messmer > Jim Cornelison (wish Nancy Faust was still there as well, and of course the Old Chicago Stadium).

Buddha.... the people here in the northeast are biased to their teams "voices" for the anthems.. Rancourt in Boston is good but not great IMHO .And Amirante for the Rangers is good ( but he is getting old and was supposedly ill awhie back) but they couldn't carry Corneilson's jock..... Actually that gal who sang O Canada for the Canadiens has a powerful voice ( and I guess she has been very ill) But SHE has a GREAT voice. But Corneilson is my fav by a COUNTRY MILE.
If its the Rangers and Hawks.. be the first time since the 50's????????????

Just a shout out for my favorite: Lauren Hart of the Flyers. Daughter of Hall Of Fame announcer Gene Hart.

And the babe who does the American national anthem for the Canadiens. Classy lady.

Well ... Game 2 in Chicago was down-right embarrassing.
    Blackhawks were leading 2-0 after 1st period ... still leading 2-1 after 2nd period ... and a final score loss of 6-2. Talk about a damn melt-down !! :confused2:

Hawks now definitely need to get a win out in L.A. :grrr:

    Go 'Hawks !!

Well, another sloppy loss for the Blackhawks in L.A. After the Hawks took a 2-0 lead, their offense went into hibernation again, with the "shots-on-goal" being very one-sided for the Kings.

Hawks better figure out a way to win game 4 on Monday, or they'll return to Chicago, down 3-1, for Wednesday's game.

That's for sure !! As much as I am hoping for a turn-around, it doesn't even seem possible that the Hawks could now win the last three games. The Kings are playing too well, offensively and defensively .....

As a Kings fan here in LA, it's amazing how biased the general public east of the Mississippi is. The announcers are pathetic. It's not how well the Kings are playing but how bad the Hawks ave been.

The Kings won the Cup 2 years ago by playing defense. Last year they still had a great D but against the high flying Hawks, it resulted in loss in 5 games.

This year it's a little different............tied for 1st in team defense, but with MG coming on board this year and the maturation of Tyler, Drew, and Muzzin, the Kings are the highest scoring team in the Playoffs.
Combined with the special teams you have a winner.

Richards, Carter, Williams and the first Cup, Gagne.

And when Carolina won, Brind'Amour and Williams.

Maybe Ron Hextall can reverse Flyers' trend of crappy trades.

If Canadiens can't pull it out, I'll be for Kings. Piss on Rangers.
