We will see if we can be as loud Friday night....My wife called this morning and was offered a pair of tickets...in a suite no less. Called into work and got permission to leave a couple of hours early...
Never having been to a playoff game, i imagine it might be worthwhile to pick up some foam earplugs from work before I leave!
    Go Wild!

If you bring earplugs to an NHL playoff game, just hand your tickets to someone else.

My thoughts exactly. The home-crowd noise is part of the excitement of a hockey game ... relish it, and be part of it.

** Of course, I am hoping for a lot less home noise tonight against my visiting Blackhawks. :evillaugh

Now THAT'S playoff hockey...I didn't bring the earplugs and was happy to hear the chants of "Crawford" ringing the stadium. Now to sneak one in Chicago. Btw...the suite was very Cush. Right behind the Chicago goal. I'm spoiled now!

Tied up 2 -2 back to Chicago! Crawford was amazing for the Blackhawks. Wild need to keep this momentum going! Go WILD!!! (Plus my Twins won last night against Detroit).

Bryz was more amazing. Especially that sprawling pad save on that breakaway. GO WILD!!

You want the Habs to win? And you're from Chicago? This doesn't compute. I really don't want a Montreal-Chicago final because I'll have to root for the Habs and piss my g/f off...:evillaugh If I didn't need to worry about her, I'd love that final.

To me now since my Rangers beat the GOON FLYERS AND the WIDELY DESPISED Penguins.... they are on house $$$$. Gonna say Rangers in 7 ( maybe 6). If the "King" plays that good again.. they might have weathered the best shot that any team offensively that's left. BUT that said I am VERY happy now and even if they got swept which I highly doubt and got blown out of each game..again doubtful..I wont complain.

    My three favorite NHL teams:

    1. Chicago Blackhawks
    1a. Montreal Canadians
    3. Any other Canadian team (well except for Vancouver - screw them though I did root for them in 1994 & 2011).

My three most hated NHL Teams:
    28. Detroit Red Wings
    29. Boston
    30. New York Rangers

I really want Canada to bring home the Cup and since the Hawks have won two over the past four years, I'd take a SCF loss for the good of Montreal, Quebec, and Canada (well except for some bitter Maple Leaf fans  ).

Las Vegas circa 1967, the last time Toronto hoisted La Coupe Stanley

Cool video. But 103 degrees (shown in video) after dark is not cool.

On the least favorite list, I think I might flip 28 and 30, but since Detroit actually left the West, my hatred will probably wane a bit over time. There is a guy in my town right now that has the personalized Blues logo plate that says "H8 DET"...:evillaugh

    Here's my list:

    1. Detroit
    2. Edmonton
    3. Chicago
    ...
    28. Vancouver
    29. Toronto
    30. Boston

As for Edmonton in 2nd place, well it's because of their past, not the present. With all those first picks and they are still going nowhere it's almost sad! They need somebody to straighten those spoiled kids!!!

Minnesota fans tried that chanting again in game 6, and Crawford responded with one of his best games in the playoffs ... Hawks winning in OT.

Now, the Hawks wait for the winner tonight in California, Ducks vs Kings.

    GO HAWKS !!!!!!!!!

Everybody does the chanting of the goalie name, not really a unique thing.

Nice win for Chicago, they certainly garnered some Vegas luck for their two goals, that's the kind of things you need to go your way to win these series.

Game 6 was my first attended NHL playoff game in person and I left thinking that was the most exciting hockey game i've been at in years! Pretty cool.

It was a nice...but lucky win for the Hawks. I think it was more the fact that their fans couldn't admit that Minnesota could play a good series against them that made the game even that more special....from now on, there will be 2 teams I won't watch...Colorado and.........
