What are some good bets to make in July at the Sports Books for someone who lives on East Coast? How do I collect if it is s futures bet (i.e. NFL/MLB Champion)

I will probably bet on a few baseball games I can watch while at the pool.

I have never done it, but you can mail in your winning ticket. I would use certified mail and photo copy the ticket so you have a record. Also most tickets you have 180 days to cash them in form the completion of the event, so if its a Superbowl bet you will have 180 days from the SB to cash in the ticket.

You can mail in the futures tickets for redemption so no problem there. And betting baseball is the top option, check the game times though,if they are daytime eastcoast starts, that means 10am in Las Vegas,,and the days sandwitched around the All-Star game may have limited or no games at all scheduled sometime in July..Check MLB . com for the actual schedule the days you'll be there..Good Luck !

Just check.. I am the week after July 4th. The all-star break is 07/13-07/15. I should be good to put a few shekels for some pool lounging entertainment!

Thanks for the futures advice all!
