We have four guys coming the weekend of the 27th and are wanting to do some college and pro football betting. My question is - how early do we need to get there on Saturday and Sunday (and even Monday night) to ensure some decent seats together?

Any books better than the others or easier to get seats? Any other advice we need to know?

    Thanks in advance

If you are wanting seats together at a book, I would recommend getting seats on Saturday by no later than 10:30 and on Sunday by no later than 8:30. As for the best book to get a seat, it doesn't really matter on the Strip (I don't know about downtown or off-strip). All of the Strip books will get filled up, from the smallest to the largest. So go with wherever you are comfortable and get there early. You have a better chance to get seats on a Saturday because the college games are spread over so many hours. But most of the pro games on Sunday start at 10, so stake out a spot early!

my experience on sunday the crowds START at 9:00am. you need to put your bet in by 9:30 or you will be too late. Sunday is half as crowded as the morning and afternoon wave of games. Hope this helps. I really liked the Mandalay Bay and MGM sportsbooks. there pretty nicely sized.

The book at the Bellagio is also really nice and find the seats there very comfortable.

Cab it out to the M on Sunday. Get there at 9 or so and you can get seats together for 10 AM games. $30+ for the cab, but split 4 ways it's nothing. 32 degrees beer bar is right there next to the book, so tons of beer selections.
