Has this happened to anyone else? I just picked up my iPhone ,went on to myvegas to get daily spin, it was faking a while to load so decided I would do it on iPad , opened in iPad and my chip balance was 2480 more than iPhone , wheel had now loaded on iPhone , pressed spin and low and behold I get 2480 !!!! So much for luck! Lol!!! Looks like it is decided how much you are getting before you spin!lol!!!!:nono::nono::nono:

I've wondered this. The mini games also seem to be pre-determined.

I guess it really doesn't matter but there is something about it being "random" that makes it seem like more fun.

Still, for free, I won't complain.

    Yes, everything is predetermined.

The Playstudios people have no problem admitting that.

Not complaining either, just wondered if it was a glitch or something, as has been said, you don't get much for nothing these days so won't knock it when you do xxx

I've got $800 on the free spin for 3 days in a row. I wonder if it's glitching?

yeah, it's definately all predetermined. even the click-a-box-to-win games. They lie when they turn the others over, you never had a chance -_-

I'm 95% on believing this as well. As soon as the game loads, it's already determined how many boxes you will click before the game ends. All the clicking/selecting you do is for show.

These are predetermined as well. When the mobile game was new it crashed more frequently and it was often during the bonus games. When you reopen the program and select that slot it will pickup in the bonus game but with nothing selected. When you play the game a second time it makes no difference where you start picking or the order that you pick the boxes the results are the same.

It's pretty liberating. Instead of thinking "ugh, I knew I should have selected that _other_ box", I end up with the mindset of "no matter what I select, it's already decided what amount I get. the order of the boxes does not matter".

I often wonder whether the same is true of real slots. Lets say, the platinum hits, for example. You get to the bonus round and pick from the squares until you match 3 for your free spins. Predetermined?

I could see why you'd think that.

Personally, I much prefer thinking that my actions led to my riches or demise. It would be much more fun to me if it was completely random.

Well, the match bonus in Frontier Fortune is random, but if your memory sucks, you may be screwed. What you click matters :)

I thought about that as well but they can control when you actually see your first match. The rest is up to you at that point!

I don't get this. What is the "match bonus" in Frontier Fortune?

For true slot machines, it depends on the slot game designer. Either method is legal because either method is still random. From what I read from current/former slot designers on other forums though, they are usually designed to NOT be predetermined.

For electronic bingo games (class II games) whose results are depicted by a slot machine theme, they are obviously predetermined since the actual win MUST be determined by a bingo draw.

As for the myVegas games, many of the bonus games are predetermined, but the hi-lo bonuses aren't. And neither is the match game on the mobile.

If the bonus games all predetermined what about blackjack? I understand they can't fully know when you'll hit and stand but if you're going to win or lose a hand could be predetermined also.....

Have they ever said anything specifically about BJ?
