Quick question on the special buffet lines for elite players card levels... does the name on the players card get any scrutiny? If one was to find an elite card in a slot machine would it gain entry to the special line or do they check IDs to ensure it's really you? Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting using any comps that might be associated with the card, just using it for expedited seating.

In my experience it's hit or miss.

Between the discounts and wanting to swipe to either earn or redeem points, CET joints are more likely than ever to have reasons to see ID. You would be more likely to get away with it in a restaurant than a buffet.

For MLife, I don't recall them ever checking my ID when I've used my card for entry to one of the buffets... but then again we usually go closer to 8PM when the extent of the lineups is usually 2-3 people would be ahead of us.

With the CET properties they seem to check most of the time, but then I do believe there are some additional perks for Diamond card holders at the buffet.

So... If my father (CET Diamond) and I have the same first and last name, I would suspect I shouldn't have an issue? They wouldn't go as far to check address or middle name would they?

    What about the lounges?

I've never been checked with MLife except when I want to comp the meal

I would think you'd be fine. To be safe, pay in cash that way they wont ask for ID for payment. I've flashed my Platinum card to get into Paris's buffet and no one even looked at it, they just let me in the special little fast pass room.

When we were Platinum (not this year!) at the Rio we used the rear entrance and no, they did not ask for ID.
