DH and I both have back/neck injuries from accidents. I was hoping to book massages for us at least once while we're in Vegas. Staying at the Orleans but the spa is very pricey.

I was hoping one of you may have used a local massage therapist and could direct me to a nearby spa that would save us some money. I found some Living Social deals but the taxi fare would eat up any savings because they are all quite a ways away.

    Palms TravelZoo Special

Might I suggest using a TravelZoo 50% off deal at the Palms' Drift Spa. Done it a couple of times and it's great. $75 + tax and mandatory tip gets you 50 a minute massage plus unlimited time at the hamman and other spa amenities, plus using the Palms Place pool, if the weather's ok.

I'll keep it in mind for the next trip. Thanks!

Groupon has many off-strip massage deals, you can look at the addresses of each one and see if any of those are close. There are quite a few in the $30-$40 range for a 50 minute massage, which is a great deal.

I tried that. There were several really good deals on Groupon. However, we don't have a car when we're in Vegas, so the cab fare was always too high to warrant taking advantage of one of these deals.

As a cheaper substitute, I sometimes pay for day use of the spa, to just sit in the jacuzzi and steam. The orleans has a very nice facility for $20 and non-guests can use the Palms (fabulous) for $30. May not have the therapeutic benefits you need though.

In my experience, hotel spa massage therapists have been below average in quality compared to regular therapists I've used at home. However the facilities are usually very nice.

I've also noticed several day spas just west of the Palms on Flamingo Rd, but have never been to any of them. I think my wife has gotten her nails done at some of them.

Another vote for Drift Spa at Palms. Use a Travelzoo coupon each time we are in town. This March will actually be staying at Orleans for first time. Spa time booked at Drift Spa already.............

Another vote for the Palms if you can find a coupon
