In November I had a flight booked out of Cleveland to Las Vegas and just randomly got on to see if the prices have gone down or up. Decided to check and see what prices were out of Akron/Canton (that airport is slightly closer to us anyway) - and right now they are really cheap! I rebooked my tickets and saved almost 20,000 RR points for my wife and I. For flying out Friday Nov 20 and returning Tuesday Nov 24 you can get Roundtrip for $230.00 and that is non-stop. Just wanted to let all fellow NE Ohio people know

Didn't know southwest even flew out of CAK? Is that an old AirTran route?

Yeah they started flying out of there after the takeover of AirTran. I'm not sure, but I don't think AirTran had direct flights to Vegas out of Akron/Canton.

That's a good deal. I'll have to let my parents know since they live nearby.
