If you pay with your credit card you will get the 2x miles for what you spend on the ticket. You will not get the miles earned from flying, only the person whose name is on the ticket can get those miles.

If you are asking about being credited the difference between your original price and current lower price... you must change each reservation by the flyers name and credit is held for that flyer under confirmation code. It used to be transferable but no longer is. Only the named passenger can use the credit on upcoming flights for a year. So your friends get the credit and re-imburse you if they want to.
