I got an email from AirTran about making sure to link my Southwest and AirTran rewards program numbers so when they combine later this year, I don't lose out on anything. they also sweetened the deal by giving 750 Rapid Rewards Bonus Points for doing it. But more importantly, they are ending the AirTran's frequent flyer program on November 1.

Link to get the 750 bonus points for doing it?

They are sending it to members individually via email. If your accounts have the same address, you should get one.

Losing the Airtran FT program is no great loss. Maybe the combined program will be better.

I had signed up for AirTran's reward program along time ago when I was thinking about transferring some of my Southwest points there to fly AirTran somewhere that Southwest didn't. But I never did it.
But I got the email today asking to verify and link my two accounts. If I did, I would get 750 points. I did it. I will be interested to see if they give me points for transferring no points from AirTran. :evillaugh
