We rarely if ever go that far south on the strip.
During our first photo we took a cab and he had to drop us off and go park down the street by the convenient store. He wasn't took happy about having to drop us off as he seemed worry we were going to run off instead of paying him.

When we drove by about a year ago it seems they did some construction and incorporated a parking area right by the sign. (This is the sign south of MB.)

We are looking to get a new Vegas photo and was going to take a cab again and would confirmation on if they did indeed adding parking in that area.

Yes, there is now a parking area, but only accessible if you are traveling South on LV BLVD. Parking for around a dozen cars.

    Correct, and I hate it
Before, there was some fun in discovering the sign, dodging cars and doing what seemed almost "naughty" to get the picture. Now it's all commercialized. You'll even see fake Elvis' there and I saw Darth Vader once....it just kills the whole fun of it.

Before it wasn't all fenced off, manicured (fake) grass, painting on the grass, and on and on.

What was that old rundown bar/casino that was there, the Klondike?
Park there, run across dodging cars, hope the cops didn't drive by and run back (though cops didn't usually care)

    Was more fun then
