Does anyone else find it really odd that South Point doesn't have peek-holes on their BJ games? The dealer actually manually looks at the under card if it's an A, and a 10 no peek is given. I have never seen, or heard anything like this since the 1930's and it seems totally unnecessary. Not sure why they do it that way.

The Michael Gaughan properties have always been that way. Part of it is they're too cheap to pay for hole card readers, the other part is superstition.
