    Hi,

Heading to Vegas in October and flying Solo for the first time. I've been before as part of a group, but wondering if anyone has any tips or recommendations on things to do/where to explore as a solo traveller.

I'm looking forward in getting a chance to explore Vegas my by my rules in my own time, rather than trying to cram in and accommodate everyone's preferences and wish lists all at once!

Any advice on what to check out or tips for a solo traveller to get the most out of Vegas life is more than welcome.

I'll add a few I've done solo. Red Rock Park, Valley of Fire, Neon Boneyard, Bellagio Conservatory. If you like to walk then do a casino crawl.

Agree with my fellow Dutchman Vegasnut here, you got a shitload of options as a solo traveller, maybe even more because you go solo, and can do and see what YOU want.. There are some really good stand up comedians (vinny favorito,Carrot Top ) which I would love to go see, but probably won't because I'm travelling with a friend next month whose english isn't good enough to enjoy these acts.

Jabbawockeez is another option, they won americas best dance crew season one, and they are really good (playing at Luxor).
Thought the Nathan Burton show was good as well, saw him when he was playing at the Flamingo.

Death Valley and/or Valley of Fire are suited for day trips, as is the Hoover Dam.

I enjoy the solo thing myself as your not hanging around waiting for other people and having to go places your not bothered about, some very good suggestions so far on what you can do, get yourself to Fremont Street one night as it is always a good night on there and if your there for Halloween it's just crazy. I don't tend to plan too much when I do solo, I have an idea of what I want to do and just arrange it when I get there, but sometimes I get surprised like last year when I found out you could do a day trip to LA, it is a long day but it's something different and I really enjoyed it, so that's something you might want to consider doing while there.
