Solo Birthday trip 1/24-1/29 MGM Grand

Well the slots are kind of sucking tonight, but I am just now opening my Tuesday envelope so that's decent I guess [emoji3]

I'm trying. It's been like 6 hours of playing without a good hit.

 

I'm a dude so I don't have to worry about being hit on when I'm out there solo in March, but I heard Mon Ami Gabi is fun for people watching if you wanna lay off the gambling for a while (grab a bite to eat/cocktail). Really enjoying your report!!! I go to Vegas solo a few times per year, and I love it. But maybe it's different for us guys, who knows. That picture of the plane taking off from Waikiki was great. It reminded me of my honeymoon in Waikiki many years ago, seeing Diamond Head. Let's see some winning pictures!!

 

Sorry you're not enjoying it. I feel a lot less awkward being alone in Vegas than any other city I've been to alone. I've found that they are used to solo travelers coming for conferences, etc.

Also probably easier for a guy. The only unwanted advance I've gotten was from a hooker!

 

Haha yeah maybe it's different for guys. Decided to check out of MGM after sleeping til about 230. Went downstairs and they took care of my bill which was surprising. Gonna head to Monte Carlo for a change for a couple days. Need all the water and Gatorade today.

 

Well this has been two days of straight losing. the drink service sucks at Monte Carlo. Back to aria with better drinks where I'm luckier.

Thanks me too it's boring not winning at all for so long. Still have two more days though.

 

I'm female and really enjoy my solo trips. I tend to stay on east coast time...gamble and eat early. That helps with the crowds and the hits. Enjoy!

 

Unfortunately I'm a bartender on Hawaii time. So I'm up all night with the drunks lol.

Good luck! Hope it turns around. LOVE Aria, haven't had a ton of luck there, but the drinks are great and the casino is way nicer than most.
