I searched the threads and couldn't fine anything quite this specific.

At home, I have a Tempurpedic Cloud Lux. It's the softest bed they sell. So even when hotels have "soft" beds (i.e., Westin's Heavenly bed), they still feel pretty firm to me.

I often see people writing about a given hotel having the "best" or "most comfortable" beds, but I can never tell exactly what that means. Can anyone guide me as to which Strip/near-Strip hotel specifically has super-soft beds?

How comfortable you think a mattress is can be very different from person to person. I have recently stayed at MGM and Mirage and thought the beds were very comfortable. No complaints at all. But then I think the Westin's Heavenly bed is also wonderful. I am not sure if you and I would like the same type of mattress and that is probably why there aren't many posts about it. As for me, I would gladly sleep on the mattresses at the MGM or Mirage any day. I hope you get more responses that help you out with your question.

I have the tempurpedic cloud lux as well and the only beds I have found comfortably soft to me were at the Aria and the Cosmopolitan. I have never stayed at wynn or encore though. Have pretty much stayed at every other hotel from mirage to Mandalay Bay at one time or another Just never wynncore.

I agree with hrt4girls that a mattress can feel very different from person to person. My husband and I stayed at Encore and Aria this month and both beds were comfortable but we thought Aria's was the softest. In fact, you can purchase them. [ARIA Resort & Casino’s luxurious beds are custom-designed by Sealy® and are only available for purchase through Aria.com. Lie down on 12 layers of comfort built around Sealy’s top-of-the-line Posturepedic bed, and you’ll know that this is the only bed you’ll want for the rest of your life.]

2nd this! Aria has the best beds on the strip. As much as I love Cosmo, those Aria beds you just sink into but they still feel like there is support. Hard to describe!

My friend bought a bed just like the one they had in Mandalay Bay. I have never stayed there, nor have I been on his bed to even see what he was talking about, but he spent a good $2k on the mattress or something ridiculous.

Have not stayed at Aria, but my wife & I both have said that the beds at Encore were very comfortable. No complaints on Bellagio beds either.

Wife loves MGM beds. Says Aria's are too soft. I'm happy with both. As was said before, it depends on your taste.

Yes, I would also say it depends on your taste.

I will definitely say that the Aria beds were the softest I have slept on in Las Vegas... but I didn't like them: I thought they were too soft, offered no back support and you could sink in to them enough that it was like sleeping in a hammock

But we still go back: have stayed at Aria three times and will again in the future. I can still sleep on the Aria beds so that is good enough for me... I am not going to let how firm or soft a bed is be my big deciding factor in where I am going to stay.

For sure Planet Hollywood! Best pillow top mattress ever! The linens were wonderful also. It was like sleeping on a cloud.

    My preference is Cosmo.

A lower cost hotel with excellent mattresses is Treasure Island.

I also vote for Aria - the beds are so comfortable it is like floating off to sleep on a cloud.

You asked which hotel has the softest beds.

Aria has the softest beds. They are like marshmallows. You sink into them like quicksand.

Comfortable is subjective. I love Aria, but their beds are way too soft to be comfortable for me. Turning over in the middle of the night is like trying to roll uphill.

Just got back from Aria, and wow, the beds were fantastic! So much so that I'm thinking about purchasing one.

So the consensus is Aria has a tendency to misplace your luggage when checking in, but, upon arriving in your room, (without luggage), you lie down with a migraine caused by the incompetent Bell staff, but, are relieved to find the mattresses are like sleeping on marshmallows or clouds.
    OK..........:wink2:
