I signed up for social rewards because I see a lot of people talking about it on here. I am not really sure how the whole thing works. I have points and also network points. What is the difference between the 2?

network points are the total you have added up between all of the properties. I have claimed over $500 worth myself since the start :)

You can borrow points from the network to redeem your reward...so you don't need 1000 from only flamingo to redeem the 1000. tRs, you can use other points towards the 1000

Yesterday I had 650 network points and tonight they are gone. All that is there is the points I got tonight. Where would they have gone?

Make sure you check your points under the home page and not a property or program. I made that mistake and thought I got wiped out.

It doesn't seem like there's a ton of info abound for it. Heck, even the Social Rewards' own social media pages haven't been updated with info since September. I'll try to grab the links later if you don't get to them, but the past few days I've searched "social rewards" "vegas" to find some info. But yeah, it's like 5% of the info for MyVegas, even though it's a good program that doesn't have the time requirements of MyVegas.

I've been doing it for less than a month now and am almost at 3000 points. After all the connect bonuses, the points average out to about 50 (.50) plus per day from retweets and surveys. I try to find all the ones that are 15 points, so with your three shares and one video/tube reward that's 50. The plus is in how many extra videos you play. Many are well over a minute long, but some are 30 seconds. You've got 20 extra points in less than 3 minutes with those. Some are actually interesting. Some are trash.

Less than a month in and I'd say it's worth it. Maybe 10 minutes a day, tops, and much of that is in finding the best point deals. You do want all three (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) to get the most points at the gate. Facebook was the end of my social media line, but this program inspired me to get the other two. Not necessary, but recommended.

Facebook and twitter I understand but what about instagram? Need lots of people? I do not understand the Social Rewards system.
If you can convert network points, how? When on home page, looks like I lost points. I need lots of help.

    First you sign into SR.
Then you look at the Network points you have so far.
Then click on each property, like Flamingo, Caesars, etc.
When you go to each site, a star appears above each box, that's how you know you can gather points.
You have choices to gather points, view videos, likes, Instagram, shares, twitter, etc.
What i do, is first click on videos to get 5 points, or anything else that doesn't use shares, there are multiple points on each property so i do this at every location, the video will first see red, click it, watch the video *normally 30 sec to 3 or 4 minutes, and then wait a few seconds and then you'll see you have collected 5 points. Sometimes after watching the video, you can also get another 5 points clicking "likes", i do this at every property. You will also see "pending" points. What this only means is that some points you have gathered for that day, haven't yet been added to your network points, that's just temporary. My total points each day is roughly 30 shared points and and about 80 miscellaneous points. So roughly $10 per 10 days, your total can be more or less. You have to open an Instagram acct to get points, i choose not to. Although the Instagram points are usually the highest, like 25 points per.

At the top right screen you'll see that you have 3 shares. These give you 10-15 points, but after you click 3 shares, you have to wait 24 hours to be able to get another 3 shares.
If you have an Instagram acct, you can gather 25 points.
I only use the Twitter, Shares,Videos, Likes to get my points everyday, you can get more points every day than i do but choose not to, your option.
I redeem my 1000 points (just click redeem). Make sure your e-mail info is correct. Once you redeem your 1000 points ($10), I put all my points at each hotel, but all the points go on your rewards card. You can choose some restaurants, etc. if you want to. I just put my total points on my card knowing it will be used for the resort fee. My other points, use when i go to the casino, are used for food. Caesars will e-mail you back saying your total has been tabulated. Then in about a week or so, your TR card will show the points on the website.

I was in Vegas about two weeks ago for 5 nights comped, i had my TR card pay off my $125 fee.
Now, i already have about $40 accumulated and many more to come for my next trip. Some of my points i redeemed didn't transpire till after i came back, so it was added and will be used next time i'm in Vegas.

It's easy. You'll know what points are available now by the * at each viewing. If you have already gotten points, there won't be a *. Then when it is available again, it will show a * again.

Another thing is make sure you gather points from the movie pages also. Your shares are system wide, but any points you earn can be used towards any rewards, so stack up what you can.

When you go check out you'll get the option to "borrow" points. Instagram is easy. You don't need it as it's more Facebook and Twitter-centric, but the extra points do help. Same with video liking with Google+. The small amounts add up.

Did they take out the reward page for The Quad?

I still see it listed in my Network Points, but there's no link to click on it to earn points in the site.

Probably since it is now the Linq and does not "exist" anymore. Maybe it is in network to show you earned points there.

Moving on, quick question all, how far in advance before my trip should I cash out my points?

10-14 business days? That's about the longest it's taken for my points to show up, other than the time they didn't show up at all, in which it took customer service a solid month to finally add them

Thanks I saw that on there, but was not sure if that was just max time and most people had it on there within a few days.

The first couple redemptions are always the slowest. Now I'm getting mine turned and burned in a couple of days. HSLD.

I haven't found any pattern in the amount of time it takes to receive the credits. I wonder if they just process them in batches every couple of weeks, and the wait time depends on when you submit relative to that schedule.

How can you use the points from the movie page to purchase reward credits? They seem to be 2 different accounts.

I actually just contacted them about this (still no reply...so going to ask them via social media). When I first redeemed the $10 credit I did it from the home page and primarily having movie points, successfully moved points from my "hotels". Could've been a glitch, who knows. Now I can't and have $10 in currently useless credits for movie tickets and concessions. Until that's resolved I just spend that time on extra videos.

I'll post when I hear back.
