So I'm likely going to be on Pawn Stars.

I assure you Rick is the "star" of the show and the highest paid of the bunch. Chumlee's role is all scripted.

O Face?? I watched this last week and I'm such a dork I googled it and the end and saw they had their license revoked. Bar Rescue did a bar out here in Boston, and the owner was on the radio talking about how he had to keep up with the changes for like a year before he could change anything back or else he'd breach contract.

    Uh-huh, that's it.

If you have never seen the place, it looks like some kind of pre-fab building that was dropped on a slab in the middle of a big parking lot. Tres downscale!

Many of their regulars are/were employees of a nearby pipe factory that has announced a closure with massive layoffs. Not very positive in any way.

Although Rick is the focal of most of the episodes, I would not agree that he is the "star" of the show...Anyone of the employees could do what Rick does...as we often see them do.

But you couldnt replace Chum...I would not be surprised if Chum is the highest paid.

Regardless, the group does not make anywhere near $1M an episode

No chance whatsoever Chumlee is the highest paid. In fact I'd wager he's the lowest paid. He's not a family member nor a partner in the business. What does he do that's irreplaceable? Act like an imbecile when he isn't? Everything he does is scripted and fake.

Yeah I hate it when any show does that whole "I'm a moron and I think its funny" routine, but Pawn Stars seems to do it especially bad at time. Their April fools episode this year was particularly bad where in the past they've painted Chumlee as a master of pranking who can't be gotten but then for that episode they get him with a really lame old gag and then the rest of the episode is Chumlee both unable to understand that April Fool's Day is only April 1st and the coming up with the lamest and stupidest "pranks" which aren't pranks at all.

I think he was a good addition and made a good character for the first few years of the show, but the last season and a bit they are really getting in to the little side stories and giving them much more time in the show and it just seems like they are forcing a lot through Chumlee

Dunno what being a family member or a partner has anything to do with what he gets paid for being on the show...

Obviously Rick makes more from the "business"...

I believe that Chumlee (in the minds of the producers of the show) is irreplaceable. I've been watching the show from the first season; and have always thought that Chumlee was the "Mikie" (from American Choppers) of Pawn Stars. They both have played the imbecile on their respective shows and the majority of the fans love them over the other people from their shows. Look what happened to American Chopper after Mikie left the show, it carried on for a few years, but the viewership dropped after he left.

I have been in a management position for most of my adult life, and if I had an employee that worked how Chumlee is portrayed on the show; I would fire them in a second.

Harrison annual income is estimated at $1.3 million. His net worth almost 10 times that.

    Chumlee net worth, 5m

Not a bad chunk of change for being an imbecile.

I'd love to be that stupid at 5m worth. Besides, nobody on here knows how much of it is an act and not. My guess, somewhere in the middle.

And he owes every penny of it to the Harrisons. Without them and the show, walking the sidewalk wearing the sandwich board ( like he did when he lost some bet) would be his life's work
