Years ago (12 I think) friends and I ended up at a small lounge/restaurant on top of a small building. Want to say it was 6 stories, or close to it. Might have been a motel/hotel (no casino). May have been a little off the strip (still walking distance I believe).

Ring a bell to anyone? Wish I could remember more, think it had a pretty good view. Headed to Vegas later this week, and wanted to check it out with my girlfriend. May have been torn down....who knows.

    Appreciate any help.

I think you are referring to a timeshare whose name escapes me right now. It is one block of strip just past PH towards MGM. There used to be a Shark Club on that corner. Same side as PH. Very nice restaurant with lots of windows towards the strip.

Carriage House looks like the building would fit what I remember and the top floor looks like it might house a restaurant/bar/lounge, but not finding any info online. I want to say the place I remember had someone playing the piano, real laid back, nice bar, nice view. Hmmm...

It WAS the CARRIAGE HOUSE. Last restaurant name that I know of was Joe(y)s...I stayed there many times over the years with many name changes at the restaurant..Decent meals for dinner but they RAPED ya on drink prices because of that great view..... The catch was if ya a person named Joe there they would buy that person either a drink or dessert at dinner. Since I was always there for a drink in the afternoon( virtually every day or night for a drink or 3) before meeting the boys the bar manager bought the table a round. because one of my crew was named Joe...They had pics of famous people named Joe whether in the movies or any form of entertainment, sports or political figures etc...

If it isn't the Carriage House... do you think you could be remembering the lounge on top of the Polo Tower?
