I have a 3-night offer for this fall. I've only been in there once, for a couple of hours, and actually won money. Location doesn't bother me, since there is a monorail stop, and bus stops front and back.
What can y'all tell me about the place?

A lot of people dislike it, I think its only downfall is the location on the strip! Great craps there, good food, good nightlife!

Count me as a regular at SLS. I like the look, the feel, and the vibe. It's slow during the week and comes alive on the weekends. Every single restaurant there is outstanding. You can't beat the breakfast offerings at the café (which has excellent coffee brought to your table in a French Press). In general, staff seem eager to please. I don't gamble - so I really can't report on that aspect of it.

I really liked SLS when I visited, as others have mentioned, the casino was a lot of fun, good food choices, fun atmosphere.. If they were closer I'd give them a lot more visits.

We stopped by on our trip this past week -- I also loved the look and vibe of the casino - They were playing old time Rock N Roll in the casino drink service was great - but it was not very crowded. We didn't gamble much for any great offers but maybe we will get a decent price on rooms.

I really like the place and hope it makes it. Casino is fairly small but works well enough for me. Plenty of good dining options. Rooms are trendy and comfortable. And I've been pretty lucky there. If you aren't put off by the location, go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
