I love the idea of the mini-bar, but hate the prices, so I never use it. This is an interesting idea, but is it enough to get you to stay at SLS instead of your usual casino hotel?

Honestly, the SLS is starting to reek of desperation. If I was going to party and not just to play - then yes, this would be a good incentive. One issue with drinks that I find in Vegas is that they're either free (I mean "free"), or exorbitantly expensive. I've had a $0 Corona and a $10 Corona in the same hour, at the same casino. The mini bar has always been discouraging to me for being similar to the latter - since they basically have you over a barrel when it comes to what you'll end up paying.

But to include it in the room? I like that idea in concept. Not necessarily from a standpoint of saving money (because let's be real, I can go to any liquor store in less than five minutes and get a 200 ml vodka bottle for about $10 as opposed to paying $25+ on regular mini bars)... but rather from a standpoint of hospitality. You include the towels, you include the toiletries, you include the newspapers - including the drinks is a nice extension of inclusiveness, and not just nickel and diming.

    Must be hurting for business!

However, it may be worth it for a trip in August instead of the Westgate.

    I like this idea.
Probably not as useful as a resort credit but it shows imagination and that's never bad.

Why did it have to be Bud Light? I was almost tempted with the Fireball, the Pepsi's help, but Bud Light? No thanks.

Interesting. Can probably get comped there for walking in and using their bathrooms.

The mini bars must be a money maker or the hotels wouldn't have them so I think its a great idea by SLS
