Got an offer for the new SLS casino opening on 24 Aug 2014. They remodled the old Sahara and as a former Sahara club memeber they got my email. The offer stated that they will match any offer from any other casino in Las Vegas if I give thier new hotel/casino a shot. No play requirments. I'm tempted to bring them my Four Queens offer at a casino rate of $25.00 per night.

If they have bought a list and will be sending this out to the world, they are going to be giving out A LOT of free play in the early going until they shut this down...should be interesting to see how it develops!

I've heard of offers like this, but have never taken advantage of it!
I'm heading to Vegas on a comp Cosmopolitan offer Sept 10th.....3 nights, 100 food and beverage, and 570.00 in Free Play. I'd be interested in seeing about the free play. I was not a member of the old Sahara.......do you think they would extend something to non-members? Would you just go to the rewards desk or would you attempt to contact a host in advance?

I spoke to a host out there at the SLS. You are right, they are matching whatever decent offers that you may have. If you need a host, pm me and i will give you her contact info. She was able to get me $700 in freeplay that i had from an offer from the venetian and $300 in Food and Beverage from Mlife offer plus a decent suite. You just need to send her a copy of some of your best offers and they will match it or do better.

I would love contact info for a host at SLS. I'm in the planning stages for a trip in November. Sounds like an awesome offer.

I sent an email this afternoon to a host with an offer from Cosmo, and she said they had no problem matching it on a first trip.
That was quick! Good signs already......

I was told they wouldn't make comp room reservation until they open on 8/23.

Interesting.....I'm getting clarification from the host right now, will keep you posted. I'm only interested in the free play for a trip sept 10, otherwise if it requires the stay as well, it will have to wait until next trip later this year.

Will let you know the response.

I heard their regular rooms were under 400 square feet. Tiny...

Yes, it will be interesting to see how they make out.....I think they will have their following of clients though.

Small rooms, small casino (only 800 slots?) & location will for sure be working against them. But, the rooms look nice, amazing looking restaurants and what seems to be vibe similar to the Cosmopolitan with relatively low room cost. Not sure that I want to actually stay there, but I think it may be worth a stop for several hours per trip.

Looking forward to checking it out in September

You were lied to. OF course they are comping rooms on their opening to get gamblers in there. Your host just said that b/c you didn't qualify for one at this point.
