So it's been a few years since I've been to this ... ahem ... gem.

I plan to check it out next month during March Madness, but purely for nostalgic reasons. It's been a few years since I've stopped in.

Really had some good memories at this place ... but I've heard it's gone downhill big-time lately.

Here's my question: Can anyone out there provide an update what it's like these days? Slots only? Food/drink specials anymore?

Last year it was slots only, has some video Blackjack machines and craps. They still had a bar open that had BOGO beers and i believe they still had food.

Was in there last October and it was definitely not something to write home about. It still has slots but also has several pool tables and some beer pong tables and a couple of those coin operated massage chairs. It smelled liked stale beer and two day old popcorn and though they had a food counter there I didn't really look to see who they were trying to poison.

It does seem to have a loyal following. Over the years I've stopped in when walking the strip and I frequently do the Mandalay Bay to Circus Circus and back route, in and out, etc. My daughter and I logged 14 miles according to our iPhone pedometer apps once one day but that was the whole day.

Slots-o-fun has never been a winner for me, neither the craps table nor the slots though and I've tried a few times. At night there's always plenty of "atmosphere" to clean up outside as it seems to attract many drunks. Better visited during the day.

On our very first trip we spent a lot of time there, It was a really fun place. Then in 2013 we decided to drop into Circus Circus, going through Slots...Bad idea, It stank, was dingy looking and just made me sad.

IMO, it's a shadow of it's former self. I learned to play craps there, at the table by the open doors, but now all the tables are gone. The slots seemed tighter than in years past, and when we went there was hardly anyone in there. If you get a drink at the bar I suggest bottled beer, as the mixers in the drink I had were horrible.

I used to LOVE SOF, now going in just depresses me.

It must have been before 1971. Slots O Fun has been on the Strip since 1971. I first visited SOF in 1978 when i frequented North Strip casinos on a daily basis.
dmr..........you sure you're not talking about Slots "A" Fun? LOL.

I miss that craps table that was right in the doorway.
$3 minimums and fast drinks made for some pleasurable afternoons.

Do they still have those old video poker machines with the faded buttons that you can't read and when you win you have the option to pick a card to double your win?????

5 years or more ago, I was able to win on the dollar machines consistently, especially the Top Dollar Machines. It also had the true Silver strike machines, .999. Then, somehow Circus Circus took over management and removed all the good slots and got rid of the tables, the sickening hot dogs.
