I played my first slot tourney Friday and yesterday. During the first round (Fri morning) I managed to jam my ring finger. I kept playing, though :)

If I could figure out how to upload the pic from my iPad, I would.[IMG]

Classic case of MSDC..(Manic Slot Digit Compression)...I'm not a DR but keep that traumatized digit in a glass of ice and some liquid to numb the pain.(Alcohol preferably, drink some to keep ice melting and refill as needed)
Then contact your attorney about a possible lawsuit if the casino where the incident occured were lacking MSDC preventable protocol measures ASAP.:wink

Ouch...and on the ring finger too...be careful with the swelling. Hope it is much better now! That sofa looks like Delano!

When I did the Cosmo slot tournament last month, I took off the Rolex and my ring before pounding the button.
    Hope you heal fast!

I always knew slots were dangerous. :)

But, way to play through the pain. Hope you won to help offset the pain. That looks like it hurt. Don't forget to ice it.

Guess we know now that you're a true degenerate gambler. Welcome to the club. :drunk:

When I first read the post title I thought you were joking. Then I saw the pic. Ouch. Looks like it hurts pretty bad.

I never thought you can get hurt pounding the buttons but now I know. Hope it gets better soon.

But in that situation, the watch and wallet and everything else goes into the safe!

I came in 22nd place (out of appx 384 people) not bad for my first slot tourney :) I turned my $200 Freeplay "prize" into $355 playing max bet on a Goldfish machine.

My finger looks better today - less swelling and yellowish-green instead of purple bruising. Fortunately it still looks bad enough that my personal trainer should excuse me from doing burpees tomorrow evening ;)

Yep, I utilized the periodic ice-elevate approach with Aleve and plenty of anejo tequila.

As a slot tourney virgin I didn't even think about my rings or jammed fingers. Lesson learned ;)
