I posted about this in my recent TR. Has anyone else noticed that some of the newest slot machines coming out, which should be really popular, are totally failing when it comes to their soundtracks? I mean, part of the fun of playing some of these games is the expectation of a great soundtrack while you're playing. Lord of the Rings and Ghostbusters are great examples of good soundtracks. They're recognizable and upbeat or exciting. Recently, we tried Spiderman, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Footloose. All of these, one might expect to have fantastic soundtracks, but they are truly awful. They aren't at all existing or even very reminiscent of the themes they should support. Spiderman plain puts me to sleep, until you get a bonus, at least.
