    My Trip Report

Some day I will download talkatap-a-thing and post pictures. But right now I'm worried about my battery and my drink that keeps disapeering somewhere. Plaza bar, lie music not bad. Video poker is going half way ok, will get all my vmb friends pictures in a moment!

So my live trip report really fizzled out when I was unable to download the app, and then too drunk to remember I was going to do a trip report. I remembered on the plane back to Denver that I was supposed to do a live report. Not so good timing, but I will give you a recap (of what I remember) a week late.

First solo trip, and first DT stay ever, 5th Vegas trip all time.

Sunday - Flew out of Denver on southwest, got to Vegas around 3 - went downtown and checked in the the El Co cabana suites. Took Uber with my free $22 credit for being new it was covered, great ride took about 20 minutes once I was in the vehicle. Got into the green suite (not at all bad for $120 for 3 nights) jumped on the bed and downed some shooters because I was so excited to be in Vegas.

After wearing myself out and feeling like I was about to puke I showered and headed up Fremont to the plaza to use the 500 on use promo. Problem was at one point I had already had a card, so I played some VP next to the little live music lounge they have Great bartenders, mediocre casino however. I walked back down Fremont hit up the Golden Gate and Mermaids
Golden Gate - Went for craps, couldn't get on it was so busy. Played VP for about 30 minutes until Debbie downer told me that they were only supposed to comp a drink every 20 minutes (even playing max). I was on pace for about 10 DPH's and the wanted you at 3DPH's so I took that as a sign to get out.
The D- Far and away my favorite casino in the whole dang town. It's a giant party with decent rules and limits, oh ya it's also incredibly nice for DT. Played some Let ride and hit a flush so I decided to head downtown a winner.

I took a lyft ride to SLS to hop on the monorail. I used the monorail quite a bit because most of the places I would be on the strip was south strip... (North Strip hurts my wallet)
SLS review - Dead, but I still like it. If you are willing to buy a multiday monorail ticket it might not be a bad option.

Headed down to the Linq to get off and walk south. Got myself a double 190 octane from fat Tuesday, perfect considering the temp was up and the sun falling. Tasted great, the very bottom turned a little liquidish and strong but 2 shots of everclear had never tasted so good. Ended up tired of walking and thirsty at the MGM. Played there for awhile, place was packed with CMT people.. very cool vibe. Pulled up to one of the VP bars and tried to see how many Bourbon-7's I could have. Got out of there for a dollar a drink including tips, so even on the slots and up on drinks. Played awhile and decided to go cross the strip and explore some different properties. Hit up NYNY to grab a quick bite somewhere, walked through the whole place and must of forgot why I went in because I left without any food.

Drunk and hungry I continued up the strip to Cosmo to try a Verbena... However the bar was so I packed I didn't even bother. Decided to donate $60 at a blackjack table before realizing $20 tables weren't my style.... So I went for the opposite... Casino Royale, Played a variety of games there and some sloots. Somehow ended back up at the El Co about the time the sun was coming up with about $100 more than I started with - Thanks Let it Ride.

Will update again tomorrow, ran out of time today! Actual reviews of stuff tomorrow!

Sorry everyone, been super busy at work.

Monday I decided to try out happy feet at the El Co, Went over for a massage without an appointment (recommended) and was told to come back in 45 minutes. With some time to kill and not feeling too well I decided to try out Siegels 1941.

Siegels - Not much on ambience, just kind of one large room. However the service was fantastic and the food was very good. I had a Cuban and fries that were terrific. Considering price this is probably one of the best values in the City. I got out for under $15 everything included and was very impressed.

Back upstairs to happy feet I got the combo massage $30 for an hour with players card, some sugar scrub was the special for the month. Open room with about 8 beds, but dark enough that there is a little privacy. The massage was fantastic, used up over an hour and cured my hangover. It was good enough that I scheduled an appointment for the next day on the way out. As is everything with El Co very good for the price.

Next up I was going to head back down to the strip for the College Basketball championship. I had a couple of coupons via ACG to burn through so ended up at Ellis Island to try and make my money back off the book. Got my freeplay and match play and turned them both into more real money. Had a couple Adios MFer's while playing to get the evening started, however I was unable to ever find a spot at the main bar so I switched up my plan of eating there and headed off on foot (scary) to the MGM. (not too far of a walk if you catch the walkways through the Signature). Donated some money as I always seem to do at the huge place.

I finally made my way to Hooters to watch the game (buy 10 get 10 wings in ACG) not to mention comped drinks for dinner with some VP. Won a couple bucks playing VP and $90 on Villanova winning the game so not too bad of an evening. Might not be popular opinion amongst most people, but I really like Hooters food & casino. Great service...

After the game I made my way back to NYNY for no real reason, sat down to play some electronic roulette over by the tables. It is the game with a jackpot number the is picked every spin, Two of the guys I was playing with hit it for about $550. Up about $50 bucks on the machine I decided to start betting numbers and hit that damn jackpot. Guess what, I never did and was now down. At that point I decided it was the right thing to do to order Long Islands and buy smokes off the waitress. Cigar in one hand and drink in the other I was drunkenly losing money only stopping to grab another $100 out of my wallet. I then tried to bet 5 on each zero right before the timer ran out, drunkenly hit the $25 dollar chip to for 0 and 00. Oops, It hit. +900.

After that however the bad decisions continued and I decided to bet $100 on Ernie Els 300/1. Spoiler alert he didn't win, but did 6 putt the first hole. After that I caught a Lyft to a certain club downtown that I will not review but give it 10/10. After they shutdown at 5 am or so?? I decided it was best to walk the liquor off all the way back to El Co. I don't know if finding my hotel was more impressive or not getting murdered. Made it though. Tuesday - To be continued.

Only a drink every 20 minutes at Golden Gate??? Ouch. I don't expect something like this from Derek Stevens.

How'd you survive five days of debauchery. I had the shakes when I got back home...had to call out sick two days in a row, go to the ER, and leave early on Weds...haven't touched alcohol since.
