Rooms will be priced at $7.95 and "The Resort Fee" will be $25 per night.

Seriously, now I will have to check out the Skyline.

Skyline used to have the 99 cent shrimp cocktail but I don't know if that is still true.

They also had slots that used real coins which aren't made anymore..

They still have coin droppers there. Plenty of good vp, in fact, they have some full pay at the bar with a progressive. The majority of the clientele seem to be 70 or older.

The LVA lists the Skyline's shrimp cocktail as #3 in its top 10 Las Vegas values

    3. Shrimp Cocktail - Skyline - 24 hours - $1.49

The shrimp cocktail at Skyline is served 24/7 at the main bar and comes in a cocktail glass, with no filler lettuce or celery, and topped with a tangy sauce.

Yep. I hope to try some of this out next trip. But once they "improve" the joint, we can't expect decent gambling offers to continue.

Yea, even though they still have a decent offering it was nothing like they had years ago. I remember the coin droppers at the bar and all the full pay WHA and DB everywhere. Half of the machines have been changed now.

Yes, I had it a few weeks ago when I was in Vegas. It is even better than the sorely missed, legendary 99ยข shrimp cocktail that used to be served at the Golden Gate's now defunct snack bar. And, as a bonus, the bartop VP machines offer very good odds.
