I had a reservation for today but changed the day to tomorrow.

When I got the quote it was $14 for all cars up to a VW Jetta (FCAR)

Now, the issue with Sixt is they are off site, but they are just across the street.

You have to walk to taxi stand #4 and call for the shuttle, so if you don't like that idea or you have a wife/GF/partner that demands convenience, it's probably not for you.

For me, it's worth the extra 10 minutes.

They do, I just rented a car with Sixt, from Las Vegas to LAX, one way for $20. Plus $11 for insurance. It was like $45 total.

Good deal for a Toyota Camry

I'm pretty sure you could just use the shuttle and hoof it over.
It's only about a block away from where they drop you off at the RAC.

I wouldn't want to cross that street at any time of the day or night. The shuttle responds pretty quickly. I rented with them 7 times this year and the longest I wasted was still less time that it would take for me to walk.

Just checked rates for my next trip - they are definitely competitive in price. How about check-in? Long lines? Aggressive insurance up-sell?

I've been watching rates for several months. I finally rented from Dollar 5 days $160. The other night kayak served up sixt offering an SUV for $120 all in. Booked immediately. For grits and shins I checked yesterday and the rate was up to $240.

Thanks for the advice re quick hop to their "remote lot" right across thy the street.

There is a light at the crosswalk so it is easy to cross.
