We're heading into Vegas in a few weeks, and as always, what seemed like a long trip (8 nights) is quickly filling up. Last several trips we've been offered tickets to the Sinatra show at Palazzo and always turn them down. We want to see the show, it just isn't high on our priority list. I noticed on the website it doesn't show dates past end of 2015, and google searches have been fruitless. Does anyone know if this show will be around in 2016? If its going away I want to be sure and check it out in November, if not, we may wait and catch it early 2016.

    Thanks!

I have seen the show earlier this year, and it was great. It's closing soon, I know that. I saw the announcement on someone's Vegas-related twitter account post. From what I remember, the show was not filling the theater lately. And with a full orchestra on stage, they needed it full to pay the bills. If you want to go, better do it this next trip. As a quick review, the show kicks off great, and ends great. I'm a huge Sinatra fan, and my feeling was that he packed all the slow "My Funny Valentine" sort of tunes into the middle of the show, and there were some pretty loud snores coming from seats around me in the middle of the show. Maybe since March he changed up the set order...he needed to. You have to keep audiences tapping their toes and singing along, after spending a full day in the sun, in the casino, and coming right from a big meal into the show.

Thanks for the info and the review! I was kind of wondering about the set list. My wife and I are both fans of Sinatra, but I wouldn't classify us as "Sinatra fans"...I can sing along to probably a dozen or so Sinatra tunes - but the more obscure stuff might have me struggling to stay awake - especially because, like you, I'll be at least partially drunk, full, and tired, ha.

Sounds like we'll definitely be booking the show this trip though.

Maybe he's changed the set order up a bit since we saw him early in his run. If he'd listened to me, maybe he'd be performing into 2016!? Have a big cup of coffee before you go...haha.

I saw the show in August and thought it was great - I'm not a "super fan" but knew almost all of the songs and it seemed those around me did as well.

I didn't think that the show ever intended to go beyond 2015 as it was a tribute to Frank during the year of what would have been his 100th birthday - here is one place that references it as a year long engagement although that isn't the place that I originally read it.

If you were thinking about seeing it I would highly suggest going, I really enjoyed it and would definitely see it again if I had the chance.
