Last year we had breakfast at Bouchon in the Venetian and it was so lovely. Planning on going there again, but I was wondering whether anyone knows of a similar place for a luxurious, relaxed, beautiful weekday breakfast/brunch?

tableau at wynn... although, now that they include a breakfast with the wynn tower suite room, it's much busier now than it used to be.

Bouchon is sui generis. The closest we've ever come to the experience is brunch at the Country Club at Wynn.

once, during my first time into nine fine irishmen at nyny, and knowing i did not care for guinness, told the bartender(right out of central casting), that i wanted to try an irish beer, but not guinness.

he suggested smithwick's, pronounced smitticks, so that is what i had. after that, i said how good that was, and asked what else he suggested.

his reply...you just got the best, why would you want to taste second best?

    bouchon!
