This is one of our favourite places in Vegas. It's our first stop after checking in on The Strip and flying from the UK. Yes, I realise that's quite sad, but it's what we do. Bingo keeps us awake, although this year all of a sudden there was a loud bang and my dauber had dropped out my hand and rolled off the table. Yep, I'd fallen asleep whilst daubing. It made for s good laugh and woke me up! Anyway, back to the review. Silver Sevens is on E. Flamingo/Paradise, half hour walk (fairly briskly and not to be recommended in the heat) from Bally's, 202 bus from beside Bally's, cab for $10 including tip or by car. We were in our hire car this time and parking is right out the front or in their parking garage. We always parked very easily right out the front by the main doors. Bingo is every two hours from 11am until 9pm. There are various different games throughout the hour, e.g. letter X, Six Pack, etc and the dual action at the end with a possible $10k payout if the coverall is within a certain amount of numbers. We've seen that won once a few years ago. The staff are very helpful if you don't know what to do and other patrons will always help out. There are electronic units where you do nothing apart from open them up and put your code in from your receipt. Then sit back and wait to win, lol. Free soft drinks, including tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available at the back of the room, as are free doughnuts until they are gone. A waitress comes round with drinks too if you want alcohol. Depending on the time and day of the week and holiday periods there can be as few as 15 people there and the prizes are the same as all the other Bingo places that ave many more people. Two weeks ago on every weekday session we went to there were between 20 and 30 people there. We won at most sessions spending about $50 between us and doubling up on that when there were very few people. After approx 20 sessions we were in profit overall but not by a huge amount. Minimum spend is $4 and validation is $1 where if a predetermined number is the number you win your Bingo on you can win an extra amount, sometimes up to $2000 extra. The cafe is really good, prime rib special afternoon and evening until 10pm for $9.99 with players card and BOGO with vouchers. They have a players card kiosk for swiping each day and most times we got a free blue pack for Bingo, 50% off in the restaurant, $10 free play or $5 comp. Wednesday is senior day with free slot tourney and other incentives. The last weekend we were there they had a free draw if you were there and more entries for play. The first night one of the 20 people at Bingo got $500 free play and the next night someone won a mini iPad. At the end of the two weeks and going there maybe 5 times, playing slots in between sessions (usually two or three sessions), I had $180 free play and my friend $110 free play. BJ can always be found at $5 and 3:2. They have one Craps table and one Roulette plus many of the newer slots. Video Poker is also good. Some of the 'characters' can be interesting but it's a great, cheap place to spend a few hours Off Strip for a change.
