    Hi Guys,
tried to do a search but everything comes up and it's so hard to weed through but my friend is going with me Friday, first time to Vegas and she has NO players cards. Since we only have 3 days, where do you think she should sign up to get some free stuff?? (shirts, freeplay, whatever). Thanks so much!

This thread is kind of old but should give you an idea, I had a better one bookmarked but can't seem to find it.

Here is a page from the American Casino Guide about ongoing promotions. Check out their coupon book it's pretty cheap and has some slot play coupons along with food and attractions especially if you are hanging around Fremont.

Folks often say sign up everywhere. Not sure how valuable that advice is for EVERYONE. There are not many giveaways like in years past. Yea, there are some, especially in smaller places. The value of getting play at various casinos varies, especially based on your level of play. If she is one of those folks that might blow $10 a day... not worth much. If she does hundreds and will be returning, then signing up is good. But, do not let it distract from the fun of a first time 3 day visit.

On the strip there isn't a whole lot any more. Most of the value will come from a coupon book like American Casino Guide.

Yeah, on the strip the only sign up bonus I got was free plastic shot glasses at Planed Hollywood, haha... Casino Royale gives you some coupons and some "free play" on some promotional slots that you have to hit a jackpot in order to get paid any real money. Downtown you usually get some coupons and maybe like a deck of cards or a small amount of freeplay or matchplay at most of the casinos.

Right now the best sign up promotions are the $200 loss rebate at Tropicana, and $500 loss rebate at Plaza. But those are some complicated promotions where you have to be able pick up the freeplay at the right time. Plus you have to be willing to possibly be out $700 while you wait for your free play rebates.

i would suggest to you go downtown(freemontstreet)....on my trips i almost never go there(stay on the strip but once or twice in a full moon i go there) but last time i went with my buddy to downtown(i think it was the downtown grand)..they had a real nice promotion for new players first i got a free t shirt...than i let my buddy play slots(my rule no slots!!) and later we got 5$ freeplay and than a real nice hoody(which i promised to give to him and i did..dang that was a nice hoody!!!)..and if i were you just sort it out and just ask(many advertise though with their promotions)..if gambling just sign up for a card(doesnt matter what property) and get comps even when its 10$ its still 10$ right?
