I just got back last night 6/29/12.

They were installing it for a couple of days.

Its up on the second floor just like they said it would be.

There were a couple days of malfunctions but its an old machine and expected.

We played for an hoiur or two and loved it.

They put the top part on it with all the lighting so thats neat.

    Yippee!

Great news. I remember playing this one back at New Frontier...I like it better than the MGM's.

Got my quarters bagged and ready for the trip!

Awesome1 Thanks for the update. I've never played it but it seems like it would be a fun game to play! Looking forward to it the next time I'm in Vegas.

The change booth upstairs is supposed to be open.

If not, check the main cashier station at the bottom of the escalator.

I read somewhere - maybe Vegas Chatter? - that this is the actual machine from the Frontier.

It is clearly not a new machine by any stretch but it looks nice.

Looked like a serious pain in the butt to install too. lots of techs working on it and suits watching them work on it.

It's tons of fun. Me and my buddies played the one at MGM for hours one night and I only lost like $15 bucks. Us and the whole table were really getting into it cheering for those damn horses.

I recall one of these only at the MGM, anyone know if the Mirage has one of these machines?

    Sigma Derby @ D

According to LVA, the Sigma Derby game is up and running at the D. It is the same one that was at New Frontier before it closed. Anyone stop by to play it?
