I am wondering what shows are normally opened during the holidays. I have a choice this year of going in November just before thanksgiving 15-19 of this year, or December 20-24. What I am wondering about is what shows are normally closed or open. Im wishing to see the following shows

Murray Celebirity Magician, or V the Ultimate Variety Show
    KA Cirque Soliel
    Zarkana Cirque Soliel
    Terry Fator
    Mac King
    Penn, and Teller

if any of these shows are closed during the holidays please let me know it would be very helpful, thanks.

Probably have better luck in Nov....We looked at going one year and meeting my in-laws there and found that a lot of shows are dark during Christmas.

The website Vegas.com has a very useful search engine that will tell you what shows/tickets are available on the dates you want. Go into the "shows" section and look for the "search by date and category" box. On some shows they'll list the open dates right on the show description. On other shows it's necessary to go into the "buy tickets" section to see the dates.

You'll have a much better choice of Shows in November than December.
Residency Shows take their Holidaze Hiatus in late Nov/early Dec and
everyone is back for New Years.

Stay in touch with your Show box office...and book with them.
Website bookings should always be your last choice.

I've always done a December trip. There's always been Holiday Shows the
properties put together while their normal Shows are on hiatus but....last
year was so poor, I'm doing November this year too.

November and December are always tricky when it come to the Shows...
There's always lots of last minute additions and cancelations.
By October...they'll 'probably' have a good idea of what's happening but
anything goes that time of year.

Always make a December trip near Xmas, and it always seems that Ka and Mystere are the only two Cirque shows running during that time. So they've become holiday traditions. The line going into Mystere is astounding, all the way down the corridor and winding through the casino in a random path like a giant snake. Very festive with the holiday decorations and excitement in the air.

KA, Terry Fator, and Zarkana tickets are availible for puchase for the dates I have to choose from in Nov and Dec on there websites. I just wonder of Penn and Teller, and Mac King are going to be there.

If the others don't have their schedules up yet, you might want to search for last year-same time and see if they were performing during that time. I've noticed that many shows take their holiday breaks around the same time each year.

Then again, Donny and Marie used to perform a holiday version of their show around that time (I was lucky enough to see it), but the past two years they went to other cities and opened their showrooms to fill-in guests. You never know.

Got an email telling me that Mac King would not be there in Thanksgiving, or Christmas, but the other days he would. It was someone off his website.

I actually went to his show for no real reason last year on the last night of my trip. Thought it might be an OK show. He makes Jeff Dunhim look like a joke. He's an amazing entertainer. I definatly want to see his Very Terry Christmas show. I thought it couldnt get any better with all the singing and jokes then he did the thing with Dolly Partin (I wont spoil it for anyone) it was worth the 150 dollars.
