Was planning to use rewards for Zumanity tickets but for other reasons was planning to just get the tickets when I got to Vegas as I don't expect the show we want to see to sell out - not sure Zumanity ever sells out, at least not before the day of the show. We are traveling with others and I don't know yet if they will want to come along but if they do I want to get the seats together if I can.

Anyway, someone on another board told me that they only allow so many MyVegas tickets per show - so it is possible that even though the show has not sold out they might not let you redeem MyVegas tickets for the show. Has anyone run into that problem? Anyone have any idea whether they often hit some separate MyVegas ticket limit for these shows?

Im pretty sure if you logged in to purchase the reward while you are in Vegas you get considerer a local and theres a lot less rewards available

This is correct - if you log into MyVegas while you are actually IN Vegas, your location will be tracked and you will not see any of the offers that people outside of Vegas see. You will get the locals offers ONLY. Your best bet is to purchase the reward now and call to redeem while you are in Vegas (because you will already have the redemption code), It doesn't hurt you at all to get the reward now, because until you actually call the number to reserve your tickets, you can cancel the reward and get your loyalty points refunded. Once you book the show, however, you cannot get a refund etc, It is very possible that they only allow so many MyVegas tickets per show, the same way that hotels offer a certain number of comped rooms on any given day. By the way, I saw Zumanity courtesy of MyVegas last month and the house looked pretty packed to me - there were not that many (if any) empty seats that I could see.

I already purchased the reward. Just was waiting to redeem until I got to Vegas. I may try to get the others in our group to committ and book it ahead of time. We leave for Vegas in about 3 weeks.

I thought you had to redeem show tickets (at minimum) 2 weeks prior. Has this changed maybe?

I did not see anything in the T&C's about 2 weeks in advance.

But I got the people we are traveling with to decide whether they wanted to go or not - and after reading other posts on here realized I could use multiple MyVegas rewards to book them. Ended up needing 5 tickets and was able to book them today using the 2 free reward, a 1 free reward - and 1 BOGO reward. So got 5 premium tickets (great seats by the way - 3rd row center) by paying full face value for one.

HuskerBB - that's a great way to purchase the 5 tickets. I booked 4 tickets today for Jabbawockeez - same reward but different purchasers. I redeemed for the tickets and had no problem as long as I had everyone's Mlife numbers and contact information. Same as previous show redemptions.

I do recall the 2 week rule but you are right they are no longer in the T & C's. This is good news for us as we are undecided about redeeming Believe or seeing Love again. We have time to decide before our September trip.

    Enjoy the show.
