Hi everybody. I live in Ann Arbor, MI and usually fly out of Detroit on Delta to get to Vegas. Until recently, Delta and Spirit were the only nonstop Vegas flights from DTW (and I'm not gonna fly Spirit). Southwest it seems recently added a nonstop flight to Vegas. I can get a roundtrip ticket for $220 right now for a few days in early December, which is amazing. Cheapest I ever saw Delta go for was $330 + baggage fees. This seems too good a deal to pass up to me. But my buddy I usually go with is "all Vegas-ed out" for a while so I'd be going by myself. I really feel like I shouldn't pass up a deal this good. I'm not a high roller by any means, but I can get a cheap room (not free) at the Monte Carlo or Mirage based on my previous play. I'm leaning towards a 3 day stay at Monte, since I feel like they'd be more generous to me based on my play (Monte rates BJ at $15 per hand, Mirage only at $25) and they're the only MLife hotel in Vegas that has Caribbean Stud, which I really enjoy. I just feel like it'd be strange to be there alone, even though I really want to go. I'm 24. Not really a club guy or a partier. I just like to gamble, walk around, drink some, and eat good food. And if I do go, which should I stay at, Monte Carlo or Mirage?
